Drinking Water Safety and Water Efficiency Efforts Discussed in Kocaeli

Training and a field study on drinking water safety plans in the provinces of Kocaeli, Sakarya and Düzce, together with a workshop on the Kocaeli Provincial Water Efficiency Plan, were held on 14–15 September 2026 at the Kocaeli International Congress Centre.

In the first part of the programme, training was provided on the preparation and implementation of drinking water safety plans, and field studies were carried out. In the workshop, the current situation, needs and proposed solutions were assessed within the scope of the provincial plan for the efficient use of water resources in Kocaeli.
